About Me

I am a holistic therapist based in Oakthorpe, Leicestershire.

I discovered reflexology around 20 years ago, whilst working as an Assistant Psychologist where I observed first-hand the calming affect this treatment had on clients with learning difficulties and disabilities along with other benefits such as improved sleep and reduced anxiety.  Since 2007, I have held various roles within the education sector with a consistent focus on supporting others to achieve their full potential.

In recent times it has become more important than ever to prioritise our health and wellbeing.  In 2020, I decided to follow my heart and take my love and interest in reflexology to the next level by training to be a clinical reflexologist and I have never looked back!

I hold the Level 5 Practitioner Diploma in Reflexology (the highest attainable level of qualification in the UK) and was trained by David Wayte, one of the UK’s foremost reflexologists and the first reflexologist in the UK to be made a Member of the Royal Society of Medicine.

I have also completed additional training to support women through the menopause, offer reflexology to babies and children and I am a qualified Baby Reflexology Instructor.

Most recently I qualified in February 2022 to offer Indian Head Massage as either a standalone treatment or as a combination treatment with reflexology.

I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) which ensures I work to a strict code of conduct and undertake continuing professional development.

Prior to my training, in 2002 I was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.
